Motocaddy, the world’s best-selling electric trolley brand, continued its strong support of the Clutch Pro Tour as headline sponsor of its second event of the season, delivering a dramatic event at Bishop’s Stortford Golf Club.
The Motocaddy Championship took place from 10-12 June on the Clutch Pro Tour Tier 1 schedule, with Motocaddy Ambassador, Curtis Knipes claiming victory after rounds of 68, 63 and 67 to finish on -12.
After a lengthy weather delay and a final-round shotgun start, Knipes held his nerve to secure the title by two shots following a clutch birdie on the last hole, adding his name to an illustrious list of winners on the UK’s leading development tour.

The 54-hole event saw a strong field of emerging professional golfers compete for a £50,000 tournament prize fund and a host of award-winning Motocaddy products at the Hertfordshire venue, located just three miles from the company’s headquarters.
The Motocaddy Championship was the brand’s second headline-sponsored Clutch Pro Tour event of the season, following the Motocaddy Masters at Heythrop Park in April, where #TeamMotocaddy Brand Ambassador OJ Farrell secured victory.
“It’s been fantastic to host the Motocaddy Championship at a venue so close to home and see so many of our products in play”, said Oliver Churcher, Marketing Director at Motocaddy. “Despite the challenging weather, it’s been a fantastic week, with the course in outstanding condition and an unbelievable standard of golf played throughout. A huge congratulations to Curtis on a well-deserved victory,” he added.

Alongside the £8,000 first prize, Knipes also takes home a new 2026 M7 REMOTE worth £1,299.99, while Ben Hutchinson received a 2026 M1 electric trolley and Josh Hilliard earned a compact-folding QB2 push trolley. A PRO 5000 Laser was also awarded as a spot prize during the final day.
The par-70 Bishop’s Stortford layout, spanning 6,404 yards, has long provided a scenic backdrop for the brand’s media shoots and equipment trials due to its proximity to their Start Hill headquarters. This tournament represented the debut of the Clutch Pro Tour at this venue and was kicked off by a Pro-Am featuring premium prizes from the headline sponsor.
Mid-way through a multi-year deal as the ‘Official Trolley & Rangefinder’ partner to the Clutch Pro Tour, Motocaddy continues to play a key role in supporting the next generation of professional golfers through branding, product integration and event activation across the season.
