Motocaddy Defibrillator Database Registration
The health and well-being of our customers is a top priority for us here at Motocaddy and with this in mind, we created the Motocaddy Defibrillator Database to make a record of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) at UK golf courses.
In a world-first, we are proud to have made this potentially life-saving information available to our 100,000+ Motocaddy GPS mobile app users and through our popular touchscreen GPS trolley models - including the award-wining M5 GPS 'Smart Cart' - to provide an indication of the availability and location of on-course AEDs, while also giving golfers simple CPR instructions to administer to anyone suffering a cardiac arrest. The feature has been supported by Heart Research UK, with over 700 golf clubs across the UK already registered.
Our research has identified that a growing number of golf clubs in the UK and Ireland have made a defibrillator available for their members and visitors to use in the event of a sudden cardiac arrest. A shock normally needs to be delivered within 10 minutes to provide the best chance of survival, so every second counts and quick access to the unit is vital.
We strongly believe that not only should the information be readily accessible to golfers, but every golf course should have an AED available and will be working towards this goal.
There is no cost to participate and no personal details will be included within the register. Please fill out the form below to provide your information and complete your registration.
IMPORTANT - Please note that the below form must be completed by a person with authority to provide this information on behalf of the golf club.
