Motocaddy Wins Foremost Golf Award For Record 12th Time

Foremost Golf Award

Motocaddy has scooped a prestigious annual Foremost Golf award for a record 12th consecutive year, with the compact-folding M1 model crowned ‘Electric Trolley of the Year’ by the UK’s largest golf retail and marketing services group.

Voted for by the Foremost Golf membership of almost 1,000 PGA Professionals across the UK, the award took into account every brand stocked by members during the 2023 season, including those outside the approved suppliers list.

Commentating on the exceptional award record, Andy Martin, Managing Director of Foremost Golf said: “Motocaddy has proved to be a pioneer in the electric trolley category over the years and it’s a testament to the brand’s innovation, design and reliability that our members keep voting for one of its trolleys to win the category award. The M1 model made a big impact on trolley sales last year and the new version now on sale could be a strong contender for the next award.”

The award follows a blistering start to the year for Motocaddy, with Q1 sales figures 35% up across green grass accounts compared to the same period last year and pre-orders a record 20% up on 2023, thanks largely to the upgraded M-Series models and the brand-new entry-level SE trolley.

“We’re thrilled to win another Foremost Golf award in such a competitive market and very grateful to the Foremost membership for selecting Motocaddy products as their #1 in the powered trolley category for over a decade,” said Steve Morris, UK & Ireland Sales Director.

“We’d like to thank all Foremost members for their support over the last 12-months, and given the encouraging start to this year with the introduction of more exciting new products, we’re looking forward to working very closely with them to make 2024 even better,” he added.

M1

The M1 has seen a significant upgrade this year, combining a sleek automotive-inspired design with game-changing features that include the brand’s revolutionary CLICK ‘N’ CONNECT® cable-free Lithium battery technology fitted seamlessly integrated into the stylish trolley frame. The patented auto-disconnect technology automatically powers off the trolley when folded and it includes a revolutionary pop-up port for quick and easy charging – innovative features exclusive to Motocaddy.

Developed by Motocaddy’s in-house product design team using Virtual Reality and rapid prototyping alongside AI technologies, the latest M1 is described as the world's easiest-to-use compact electric trolley thanks to its simple folding system and space-saving inverting wheels. The design also incorporates newly styled ergonomic handle grips and low-profile aerodynamic wheels with high-performance tyre tread.

Additional features include an impressive LCD widescreen display, nine-speed settings, and Adjustable Distance Control (up to 45 yards). A speed indicator and battery meter feature, along with a USB charging port, tool-free handle height adjustment, and a convenient auto-open stand for easy storage and transportation.
